The penultimate installation of my personal 100 Happy Days Project:
Day 84: Wave jumping at Crooklets Beach – introducing the memories of my childhood summer holidays to the girls
Day 86: Unplugged evening entertainment – no TV, no phones – just good old-fashioned board game fun: Scrabble, Monopoly and cards
Day 87: Putting my new magnets (souvenirs!) up on the fridge when we got home after a 7 and a half hour car journey
Day 88: Fun in the park on our last day with Sophie before she had to go back home – have so enjoyed having her with us for proper quality time together 🙂
Day 89: One-to-one time with Mimi, helping her write thank you letters for the birthday presents she received
Day 90: Hearing the shouts of laughter from my girls as they spent at least 15 minutes after school playing Hungry Hippos together
I’m feeling a little sad that I’m getting ever-closer to the end of my #100happydays project. I’m really loving doing it, and while some days have been tougher than others, I’m pretty proud that I’ve always found something to be happy about. My favourite kind of days are definitely the ones where I have so many happy moments that I don’t know which one to choose!
I’m starting to think about what my next project might be, so as the next ten days pass by please do feel free to suggest any ideas that you might have or let me know what you’d like to see on this blog.
As always, all comments are very welcome – I love to find out what you all get out of reading my posts.
Thank you 🙂
