It’s half term, so I have had plenty of joyful moments these last ten days because I’ve had my girls home with me 🙂 Here are the best ones:
Day 231: Sunrise
Day 232: Watching each of my girls sing with their classmates in the school’s annual Harvest Festival. Feeling very grateful to be able to be at all of their important school events – the little wave (and big grin) each of them gave me as they spotted me in the crowd of parents filled my heart with joy. (PS: This is Mimi’s class. Not supposed to take photos, but I snuck one anyway. #naughtymummy)
Day 233: A sunny Autumn afternoon on a day where I feel really rather poorly 🙁
Day 234: Snuggled up on the sofa watching The BFG with my girls. A much-loved film (and book) from my childhood, the perfect Saturday-afternoon-first-day-of-half-term activity 🙂
Day 235: A Sunday night ‘Friends’ marathon at the request of my stepdaughter. Instantly transported back to teenagerhood and giggled the night away on the sofa
Day 236: Getting to spend the whole day with these loons! Love my girls 🙂
Day 237: The girls love our twice-yearly trip to the dentist (mainly because they get stickers!). Here are Mimi and Lola in the waiting room practising their reading.
Day 238: Catching the super-duper-early train to London meant that I was at work in time to catch this gorgeous sunrise from my office window #lucky
Day 239: A family outing to the pumpkin farm to choose our pumpkins 🙂
Day 240: Carving pumpkins with a witch, a cat and a pirate!
