The final #365happydays blog post for 2014. Plenty of festive family joy during the last ten days 🙂
Day 291: Baking extravaganza – an enormous batch of gingerbread for all of us to share
Day 292: My eldest daughter being brave – she’s scared of swimming and this is her doing her very best in her first private lesson
Day 293: Mimi rarely stays still long enough to even give you a cuddle, so falling asleep on me on the sofa (even for only 20 minutes) was a blissful miracle that forced me to slow down too.
Day 294: Christmas Eve! Making memories with my girls by following our traditions… Christmas jumpers, watching their messages from Santa, and of course leaving out cookies, milk and a carrot for Santa and his reindeer
Day 295: Christmas Day! So many happy moments today that it’s impossible to capture them all in a single image. We all received really thoughtful and generous presents that we are incredibly grateful for, we had friends round for the afternoon, and my husband didn’t have to work so we got to spend some quality time together as a family.
Day 296: Boxing Day. A whole day of quality time with the girls – playing with all their new toys and watching ‘Matilda’.
Day 297: Woke up to a light dusting of snow covered with a heavy frost, making the whole world look gorgeously glittery and sparkly
Day 298: Mini-Christmas with my Mum and stepdad 🙂
Day 299 Cuddles with my friend’s baby – 8 day old Noah. Isn’t he gorgeous?
Day 300: The penultimate sunrise of 2014. There is something very peaceful about being out when the rest of the world is still asleep.
The next installment of my #365happydays project will be published in early January. Wishing you all a fun few nights of celebrating the start of the New Year.
