I believe in what I do because it saved my life. I struggled with anorexia for over three years, and it was through Cognitive Hypnotherapy that I got better. I truly believe that without it, I wouldn’t be here today.
Once I recovered, and after spending a year travelling through Australia and New Zealand, I was inspired to help others in the way that I had been helped, and so I made the decision to train with the man who helped me to get better – Trevor Silvester of the internationally acclaimed Quest Institute at Regents University in London. I qualified as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist in 2006, and now specialise in helping people to overcome eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder.
I am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy and I was thrilled to have been appointed as Eating Disorders Specialist Advisor for the NCH in 2011. In 2012 I trained to become an Accredited Hypnotherapy Supervisor, a role which involves me being able to help other hypnotherapists to develop their expertise and improve their confidence in themselves as practitioners.
I set up Open Mind Hypnotherapy with the intention of helping people to resolve issues that are troubling them, and to help them find peace and happiness in their lives. By using my experience and the various techniques available to me through my extensive training, I aim to help every client achieve the goals they want to reach in the shortest space of time that they feel comfortable with.
I run a friendly and relaxed therapy practice in Harley Street in Central London, which provides a professional service in line with the standards and Code of Ethics of the National Council for Hypnotherapy.
