This instalment of #projecthappy encompasses the first half of the Easter holidays, so there have been lots of fun times with the girls. Plus, I’ve reached my 400th day of capturing joyful moments. I’m pretty proud of that.
Day 391: Sunset. A pretty spectacular way to say goodbye to March.
Day 392: This gorgeous pink magnolia tree in full bloom in the sunshine in Regents Park in London
Day 393: I was lucky enough to receive two unexpected pieces of wonderful happy post through my letterbox today, from two entirely unconnected people. I can’t even begin to describe how much these lifted me. Little things matter, like people taking five minutes out of their day to write a note to let you know that you are in their thoughts
Day 394: The first day of the Easter holidays dawned with grey skies and persistent rain. So the five of us baked cinnamon buns 🙂
Day 395: Easter crafts at the Shire Hall Gallery meant the girls got to be creative and messy, while I got to explore a photography exhibition #winwin
Day 396: We only get one full day a week together as a family, even in the Easter holidays, so we try and make the most of it by going out for the day. This is a family selfie of us all at Shugborough Farm on Easter Sunday 🙂
Day 397: A visit from my beautiful friend and her gorgeous daughter
Day 398: The girls and I meeting up with my friend and her two lovely children to feed the ducks and play in the park in the sunshine
Day 399: Getting home early from London to be given these pretty little daffodils, handpicked from our garden just for me 🙂
