My very dear friend and fellow Cognitive Hypnotherapist and Coach, Kirsty Hanly, used to be terrified of public speaking. Through her own journey of therapy and coaching, a great deal of hard work and more than a little bit of walking into the unknown, she successfully overcame that fear.
Over the last few years I have watched Kirsty grow and I am so incredibly proud of who she has become and who she is still becoming. She inspires me on a daily basis to keep leaning into my fears.
She recently gave an incredible talk at TEDxSquareMile in London about ‘The Magical Power of Fear’. It’s about 18 minutes long and it is well worth that small chunk of your time. Watch, listen, learn and be inspired…
Now that you’ve watched it, ask yourself these two questions:
~ Who would you be if you believed in yourself more than you do now?
~ Who would you be if that story you keep telling yourself isn’t true?
Please do feel free to post your answers as a comment below – I’ll make sure Kirsty sees them. You can also contact her directly via her website.
