Aside from helping people make positive changes to their lives through Cognitive Hypnotherapy, my other passion in life is photography.
I’m only an amateur – I use a compact digital camera to take snaps of my children, my family, my friends and beautiful scenes in nature. I love capturing ‘the moment’. If the house was burning down (and everyone I loved was safe) the only thing I would save would be my photos – they are my memories, my life story, and I treasure them dearly.
I first came across the M.I.L.K. photography exhibition when I was ill. I’m not sure if I came across it accidentally, or if I deliberately went to see it, but however it was that I got there, I instantly and totally loved it. I was fascinated by the sheer beauty of the photos, and the emotions and meanings contained within them, and ever since have aspired to take photographs like them.
I went to see the exhibition again when I was travelling in Australia, and when I got home I bought the books, which now have pride of place on display in my office/therapy room.
M.I.L.K. stands for ‘Moments of Intimacy, Laughter and Kinship’ and for me they represent the most important things in life.
Take a look at the website (www.milkphotos.com) – I’d love to know what you think.
